Cassandra Laperriere

Ms. Laperriere is an associate at Weisberg Law Criminal Lawyers.

Ms. Laperriere completed both her undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Western Ontario. Knowing from a young age that she wanted to become a criminal defence lawyer, she pursued an Honours degree in Criminology with a Minor in English Language and Literature in 2016 before earning her Juris Doctor in 2020.

Before joining Weisberg Law Criminal Lawyers, Ms. Laperriere articled and practiced at another leading criminal defence firm in Toronto for five years.

Ms. Laperriere practices exclusively in criminal law and has extensive experience in criminal trials. She has successfully defended clients facing fraud, conspiracy, and sexual assault charges and was part of the winning defence team as co counsel on four murder trials that resulted in full acquittals. Her practice focuses primarily on trial work in the Ontario Court of Justice and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Known for her strategic thinking and strong advocacy, she has achieved numerous favourable outcomes, including persuading prosecutors to withdraw serious charges. Ms. Laperriere is a results oriented criminal defence lawyer committed to providing exceptional service to her clients.
